By downloading or using Astra you accept these terms. Please read the Disclaimer section with particular care — it explains how Astra frames astrological content.
01 Acceptance
These terms apply to everyone who uses the Astra mobile app ("Astra", the "Service"). You may not use Astra if you are under 16. If you do not accept the terms, you must not use the Service.
02 Service description
Astra produces a birth chart from real astronomical calculations (Swiss Ephemeris) based on your date, time and place of birth, and turns it into a daily, personal experience with artificial intelligence. Data such as planetary positions, houses and aspects always come from deterministic calculation; the AI only translates this data into plain language and never produces a new astrological fact or invents data that does not exist.
The app also offers additional features based on symbolic systems such as Tarot, I Ching, Numerology, Dream Interpretation, Biorhythm, Moon Calendar, Human Design, BaZi, Mayan, Kabbalah, Ayurveda, Feng Shui, Vastu and Vedic Astrology. All of these are covered by the Disclaimer in this document.
03 Your account
- You create your account with your Apple ID, your Google ID or an e-mail address and password.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and confidentiality of your account details.
- You must not share your account with others or open an account on someone else's behalf.
- You can permanently delete your account from within the app at any time.
- If you notice suspicious activity, let us know.
04 Subscription and payment
Astra's core features are free. The Astra+ subscription unlocks the full transit system, extended Astra AI usage and the AI interpretations of the Discover features. Astra+ is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription; the duration you choose is shown on the purchase screen.
The current price, subscription duration and, where applicable, the terms of a free trial or an introductory price (the discounted first period and the price that applies afterwards) are shown on the in-app purchase screen, next to the purchase button. This information is provided by the App Store according to your region.
All purchases are made through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple's Terms of Use. Unless you cancel, the subscription renews automatically at the end of the period; the charge is applied to your account 24 hours before the end of the current period.
05 Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your iPhone's Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refund requests are assessed directly by Apple under Apple's own policies — Astra has no access to payment details and cannot process a refund directly.
06 Rules of use
When using Astra AI you must not:
- Try to use the system for a purpose unrelated to astrology (writing code, homework, translation, etc.).
- Try to steer the model into ignoring its system instructions ("jailbreak").
- Send automated (bot) requests.
- Ask it to produce content that harasses another user or is illegal or harmful.
Off-topic messages are detected automatically and politely declined; repeated abuse may lead to suspension of your account.
07 Usage limits
Every use of Astra's AI features has a real cost. To keep the Service sustainable for everyone and to prevent abuse, the following limits apply. These limits are part of the product; by using Astra you accept them.
Astra AI chat
- Free: 3 questions per day.
- Astra+: 25 questions per day.
- On both plans: at most 500 characters per message and at most 5 requests per minute.
- Off-topic messages (unrelated to astrology) are not deducted from your questions, but after 10 off-topic attempts per day on the free plan and 30 on Astra+, chat is paused for that day.
Discover features
- Tarot: 1 spread per day on the free plan. Card meanings are always free; only the AI interpretation depends on your plan.
- I Ching: 1 reading per day on the free plan.
- Dream Interpretation: 3 interpretations per month on the free plan.
- History: on the free plan the last 3 Tarot and the last 5 Dream results are shown.
- Biorhythm: 7-day forecast on the free plan, 90-day on Astra+.
- Moon Calendar: on the free plan, navigation ±1 month from the current month.
Abuse guard rails
Independently of the plan limits above, an hourly cap applies to every account (6 to 20 AI generations per hour depending on the feature). This cap is not noticeable in normal use; its purpose is to stop automated requests from consuming the Service.
Invitations
For compatibility report invitations, at most 3 free reports per month are unlocked per inviting user.
Changes to the limits
Limits may change because of service costs, abuse patterns or product improvements. If a change materially and adversely affects your paid subscription, you will be notified in the app before it takes effect and your right to cancel your subscription is preserved. The current limits are always published on this page.
Fair use
The limits are designed for the personal use of a single natural person. Sharing your account, automated access or attempts to circumvent the limits (for example, trying to reset a counter by deleting history) may lead to suspension of your account.
08 Intellectual property
Astra's brand, design and software belong to us. Your birth data and the messages you write with Astra AI belong to you; we process them to operate the product and provide the Service to you (see the Privacy Policy).
09 Disclaimer
Aura, Ayurveda and similar features are not a medical assessment and may not be used to diagnose, treat or prevent any health condition.
You should not make career, relationship, health or financial decisions based solely on Astra's content; for such decisions you should consider your real-life circumstances and, where necessary, the opinion of the relevant professionals (doctor, financial adviser, lawyer).
Astra AI replies are generated by artificial intelligence and may be wrong; a "Report" option is available next to every reply.
10 Changes and termination
We may update these terms; we notify you in the app about material changes. If you violate the rules of use we may suspend or terminate your account.
11 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction over disputes.
